“Gramsbergen guaranteed success” was the title of an article published in the Dutch magazine Women & Football. That is the correct description of the tournament that is being organized by sports club Gramsbergen since 1996. The tournament has built a strong reputation over the years.
Everyone (from the highest until the lowest leagues) is welcome on the tournament. The organization makes sure the tournament runs smoothly and takes care of different forms of entertainment next to the tournament. With an opening manifestation, matches under supervision of international FIFA-referees, like Bas Nijhuis, Pol van Boekel and Eric Braamhaar, or a VIP for the prize giving ceremony, like Erica Terpstra (chairwomen of the Dutch IOC department) in 2005 and manager Gert Heerkes of Dutch Premier League clubs Willem II, Heerenveen and Heracles Almelo. Anouk dekker, Dutch international, awarded the prices in 2018. Last year Tim Douwsma, was the VIP for the prize giving ceremony. Yearly, the organization tries to renew the program with different surprises. This is why Gramsbergen has a magical name in women football. You really have to see this for yourself!
In 2002, the tournament received a decoration from Jeu Sprengers, the former chairman of the Dutch National Football Association (KNVB) in the Amsterdam ArenA. The previous participants describe the tournament as the best and nicest tournament. That is why lots of applications come in regularly. If you wish to participate, you will have to send us the subscription form soon! Next to teams from all over the Netherlands, we hope to welcome several foreign clubs on Friday the 19th, Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21th of June 2020.
We put a lot of effort in the entertainment program. This is why the tournament is an ideal way of ending the season with your team. Past has learned us that nearly all participants stay in Gramsbergen over the weekend. We offer different possibilities for different budgets. You can rent luxurious bungalows next to the sports park, or you can rent a tent on the tournament campsite. It is also possible to bring your own tents.

The majority of the 40 available places in the tournament will be awarded around New Year and the last places somewhere in spring.
