On Friday night, a special opening manifestation is held. The implementation is surprising every year, like last year a home-made comical video/photo by the participating teams. In the past there was a spectacular record attempt ‘Upholding ball’, a performance with several hundreds players from Diski Dance, a parade of all the contestens through Gramsbergen and an opening match inter alia the National Militairy women’s team, multiple national champion Saestum and the Dutch Mayorsteam against teams from Tournament participants or regional teams. Sometimes led by international known referees like Jaap Uilenberg and Ben Haverkort. One year everybody was surprised by the coming of SBS6-weatherman Piet Paulusma. As you can see, we like a stunt.
